Pongyi Becomes the First Facility Certified Under Kanazawa City's "Safe Accommodation Certification"!
We are thrilled to announce that Pongyi has been recognized as the very first facility certified under Kanazawa City's "Safe Accommodation Certification."
This certification is designed by Kanazawa City to certify accommodations that provide a safe and secure environment for both guests and local residents.
The following aspects were evaluated for certification:
- Safety Measures: Installation of security cameras with recording functions and fire alarm systems to ensure a safe environment.
- Multilingual Support: Clear signage in foreign languages for evacuation routes and facility information, providing a comfortable stay for international guests.
- Promotion of Accessibility: Installation of handrails, elimination of steps, and other efforts to create a space that everyone can enjoy.
- Community Connection: Promotion of local experience programs and opportunities for cultural exchange.
- Fire Safety: Enhanced safety through the installation of fire extinguishers and enrollment in fire insurance.
Our guesthouse was recognized for four areas: safety measures, multilingual support, community connection, and fire safety, excluding Promotion of accesibility.
Pongyi opened in 2009 as the first guesthouse in Kanazawa.
