This room is only for women.
It is a shared room on the 2nd floor of the vintage kura storehouse.

(2 bunk beds / Capacity 4 persons)

Shared washroom, bathroom and shower room are on the same floor of the female dormitory.

*** Good Points ***

  • The room is on the 2nd floor of an old kura storehouse.
  • Shared shower room, washroom and bathroom are nearby.
  • Air conditioner (cooling and heating) and ventilation fan are equipped.
  • Each bed are equipped with a bed curtain, a bed light and an electric outlet.
  • Each bed comes with a small space (100cm ×40cm) to put your luggage. We also provide a shelf to put your back-packs or wheeled carry cases.
    (The largest size suitcase cannot fit in the dormitory.)

*** Notes ***

  • The stairs to the 2nd floor are narrow and steep.
  • Since the room is in the kura, there is less feeling of openness.
    (A quiet electric ventilation fan is equipped.)

Mixed Dormitory (shared room)

This room is for men and women.
It is a shared room on the 1st floor of the vintage kura storehouse.

(2 bunk beds / Capacity 4 persons)

Washroom, bathroom and shower room are shared.

  • The rooms is on the 1st floor of an old kura storehouse. (The entrance of the room is a curtain, not a door.)
  • Each bed is equipped with a bed curtain, a bed light and an electric outlet.
  • A bit large size bed and each bed comes with a small space (100cm×70cm) to put your luggage.
    (The largest size suitcase cannot fit in the dormitory.)

*** Notes ***

  • The entrance is a curtain, not a door.
  • The is no air conditioner only for this room. The room is air-conditioned by an air-conditioner on the 2nd floor of the same kura and the one right outside of the entrance.
  • Each bed is equipped with a small electric fan in summer.

Japanese Style Room (private)

　 A private room on the 2nd floor which is facing a mini canal.

　　(2 persons / Futon mattress)

　 Basically, this room is for 2 persons, but 3 persons is also available with an extra futon.

  • The size of the room is about 15㎡. (about 8 tatami mats)
  • An air conditioner is equipped.

*** Notes ***

  • The room is on the 2nd floor and there is no private bathroom and shower room. Please use the shared bathroom and shower room on the 1st floor.
  • Since the building of Pongyi s very old, the wall is thin. You might hear the sound of cars and talk of people outside.
  • There are blackout curtains, but the rays of morning sun shine through a gap in curtains, so it is not the complete darkness.
